I am thrilled to announce that The Cook’s Digest has been honoured for our contributions towards the Vietnamese food scene. We have recently been recognised as one of the top Vietnamese Food Blogs by the good folks at feedspot.com. And perfect timing, as this coming weekend the country celebrates National Day.
It was a trip to Vietnam back in 2012 that changed my life in so many ways, food being one of them. You can read about it in an earlier article. The culture is welcoming, warm and vibrant. I made many friends there … and xin chào if you’re reading this!
Whilst there I was inspired to cook Vietnamese food when we returned home. This discovery was one of the reasons for starting this blog, to share the wonderful food this country has to offer.
Here’s a selection of the popular Vietnamese dishes and meals in The Cook’s Digest (click the pictures for the recipes):
I’ve got more Vietnamese recipes in the pipeline, including Caramel Ginger Chicken and Bun Bo Hue (spicy beef noodle soup). So stay tuned folks, and thanks for reading!
